My entrepreneurial spirit bloomed early. At just 5 years old, I was running a lemonade stand and making deals with the local ice cream vendor. By 8, I'd launched a snow shoveling business for the neighborhood, and even used my earnings to make wise stock investments. I always found creative ways to make money and grow my ventures.
My love for music led me to compose Foley sound effects for Comedy Central. I knew the power of the internet, so I built a website and used SEO to attract more clients. This opened doors in the industry. With big dreams and a limited budget, I landed in New York City, determined to make it as an entrepreneur, even if it meant unconventional living arrangements at first.
The sharing economy was booming, and I saw an opportunity. I rented out spare rooms in my apartment through a new rental platform, generating additional income. This experience sparked the idea for a full-fledged SEO agency. We soon expanded our services to include PPC, social media, affiliate marketing, and email campaigns. The company thrived, but the 2007 recession threw us a curveball. We had to adapt and be resourceful to navigate the tough market.
Transitioning to a traditional job turned out to be a valuable learning experience. I gained a deeper understanding of business operations and eventually became a partner in a successful company. After a successful exit, I was ready for new challenges.
Life took some exciting turns. I started a family and relocated to Puerto Rico. Today, I manage a diverse portfolio of businesses, each with its own set of hurdles to overcome.
Over two decades as an entrepreneur, I've learned so much. The importance of embracing different perspectives, learning from mistakes, and constantly innovating is key. Building strong teams and fostering a culture of gratitude are equally important. My journey is a testament to the power of resilience, humility, and unwavering determination. Through hard work and a love for life's adventures, I'm committed to creating value and making a positive impact on the world of business and beyond.
